Resolution No. 2019-004
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A
PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO NEW TRAX, INC. A
TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FOR SENIORS AND PEOPLE WITH
DISABILITIES.
WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds
from the Country Lounge,
WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local schools and charities,
WHEREAS, that the City Treasurer is authorized to send to NewTrax, Inc., the amount of
$500.00 for the City of Gem Lake's contribution for the year to be used for their
transportation program for seniors and people with disabilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Gem Lake approves
the donation of $500.00 to NewTrax, Inc.
The motion of the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor
Lindner and was supported by Councilor Artig-Swomley and was declared adopted based
upon the following vote: 5 yes, 0 no.

I, Gloria Tessier, the duly qualified Acting City Clerk of the City of Gem Lake, County
of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution is a true
and accurate representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake
on the date first written.
