RESOLUTION NO. 2018 —08
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A
PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO WILLOW LANE ELEMENTRY SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds from
the Country Lounge,
WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local schools and charities,
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer is authorized to send to Willow Lane Elementary School
the amount of $3000.00 for the City's contribution for the year 2018, with instructions to
use the money toward new playground equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above resolution was adopted at the
April 17, 2018 regular City Council Meeting for the City of Gem Lake, Ramsey County
Minnesota, made by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Artig-
Swomley.
