Owners Giorgi
Gochitashvili and Sally Ackerman had
been watching the area for a while,
impressed with the mix of nearby
businesses and the value of the real
estate. The married couple moved their
existing auto sales business from
Maplewood, because they wanted to be
visible to more potential customers who
were coming to the dealerships in the area
to find their perfect car. Vera Auto had
originally opened in Maplewood in August
of 2008.

Giorgi says he buys most of his cars from
other dealerships, including Tousley Ford,
and from the local auto auctions. "Jessie
worked hard to help us operate like a real city. I
found Jessie to be the most competent and
innovative Finance Director I have ever worked
with."
Jessie was an employee of White Bear
Township and worked for Gem Lake through a
shared services agreement.
(continued on page 4)
