A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A PORTION OF THE
CHARITABLE GAMBLING FUNDS TO NEWTRAX.
WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of charitable gambling funds received from the
Country Lounge
WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations
WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake City Council suggested a donation at their October 18, 2022 meeting in support
of Newtrax.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Gem Lake, Minnesota, the City Treasurer is authorized
to send $500.00 to support the Newtrax for the month of November 2022.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember Lindner and supported
by Councilmember Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the resolution passed with a vote of 3 in favor and 0
against.
