SIXTY-FIFTH MEETING - VILLAGE OF GEM LAKE COUNCIL JANUARY 27th, 1965 - HOFFMANS CORNERS HALL I. The MAYOR CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 8:20 PM 2, THE CLERK CALLED THE ROLL - PRESENT -Hoffman, Hansen, Arcand, Dave Hoffman & Morgan ABSENT - John Gray Jr. 3. HANSEN MOVED AND ARCAND SECONDED THAT THE READING OF THE MINUTES OF THE OREVIOUS MEETING HELD DECEMBER 15th, 1965, BE AND HEREBY ARE DISPENSED WITH. ALL AYES. 4. PRESENTATIONS FR014 THE FLOOR - a. Mr. Dwyer who operates the three par golf course requested a cigarette license and a 3.2 license. The council granted the cigarette license and looked with favor on the 3.2 ;icense but the clerk wanted to check with Dahlgren of Midweet Flan. and Res. because he remebered that Dahlgren had some rather positive ideas on this subject. The clerk was instructed to inquire and report back at the next meeting. 5. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES - a. The council appointed Henry L. Hoffman a.: member and Morgan as alternate to represent the village with the Ramsey County Leagure of Municipalities. 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - a. Arcand moved and Hansen seconded that GUN ORDINANCE #13, be approved but not published to take effect if or until the County annouces its ruling on the game preserve problem. All ayes. b. Arcand moved and. Hansen seconded that DOG ORDINANCE #12, be tL3 and hereby is approved to take effect on March 15th 1965, and �f to be published immediately. All ayes. 7. NEW BUSINESS - The following appointments were moved by Arcand and seconded by Hansen - all ayes - Building Inspector - David Hoffman, Plumbing Inspector - Wtn C. West Electric Inspector - Robt . A. Cartier Heating Inspector - Frank Hall Weed Inspector -- Leroy Urban Official. Publication - White Bear Press Bank - First State Bank of White Bear 8. REPORTS OF VILLAGE OFFICERS a. The clerk submitted the annual statement for the year ended December 31st 1964, which was audited and approved by Henry L. Hoffman, Allen Hansen, Richard Arcand and the council. The clerk was instructed to Publish same and send a copy to the Public Examiner. c. Treasurer's report - Previous balance 6 7 , Receipts 2A-1 ° Total '(<-yyd .
