WHEREAS., .Mr. Jim Arend bas advised the City that he intends:to retire. and, therefore', terminate, his eoritract with ibe City.of
Gem Lake. effective 01 September 1999; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Allen Ze'pperba* s expressed aA ititerest..in securing this contractuat.position, has been recommended by Mr.
Arend for the position., and is duly.qualifed to sery0n the position of Chief Building.lnspector for the City of Gent Lake..
NOW THEREFORC. $E IT RESOLVED,. that the.City C ouncil of the City of Gem Lake does hereby'appoint Mr. Allen
Zepper to..act as Chiel`Building inspector of Gern Lake, on.a contractual basis for the period q 1 September 19.99 and annually
thereafter subject.to,. reappointment by the. City Council in January of each year.
The foregoing Resolution was offered by Cpuricil Membr.Igo and was supported by Council Member'Sirkebak and was
declared unanimously carried based upon the tolluwinQ Vote:
