RESOLUTION NO. 99-11

WHEREAS, .Hoffman Corner Oil has applied for renewal of a. Retail Tobacco Products .Resellers:Lir erise for the period 01
January 2000 through 31. December.2000;. and
WHEREAS, said applicant. has:.been similarly licensed in prior years.:in the City of Gem Lake; and
WHEREAS, said applicant has operated the establishmentwithonly minor indident during.4999; and
WHEREAS, .the State'Of Minnesota. has.:Wacted legislation, reference. Chapter 227 / HY..117, requiring. local.-ttn is of
government to establish i3k update local ordinanceS rogulhting.retail tobaoco sales and providing for compliance checks, the cost
of which.shall be born by the licensee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has.established:a Tobacco Compliance Ordinance No. 68 which became effective 28 February
.1998.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake does hereby approve renewal of the
a RETAIL TOBACCO P.RODUCTS:RESELLERS LICENSE to Hoffman Corner Oil for the period 01 January 2000 through.
3.1 December 2000; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDFthat.the City.retains the right. of revocation at any time. in the event otviolation of State laws
regarding the retail sale of tobacco products.
