Lounge has applied for renewal. of a.Retail*Tobaccq Prioducts.Resejlers Lieense.for the period 0.1 <br />January 2000 through 'I December �000;rrd <br />WHEREAS, said applicant has been. similarly licensed itr prior.years,in the City of Gem Lake; .and <br />WHEREAS; said applicant has operated the establishment with only minor incident during 19";* and <br />WHEREAS, the State Of Mipnosm has enacted legislation, reference Chapter 227 / H.F. 117, requiring.. Local units. of <br />government to.estab fish or update local ordinances regulating -retail tobacco gales and providing for cojppliance checks, the cost <br />.of which shall be born. by.the licensee; and <br />W.H1EitkAS, the: City Council has established a Tobacco Compliance Ordinance which became effective*28 February 1.998,. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE ITRESOLVED that the City Council of the City -of Gem.
