Resolution No. 2017-02
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A
PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO WILLOW LANE ELEMENTRY
SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds
from the Country Lounge,
WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local schools and charities,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Treasurer is authorized to send to Willow Lane
Elementary School the amount of $3200.00 for the cities contribution for the year 2017
with instructions to give $200.00 to each classroom teacher to be used for school supplies
or books for their room libraries.
WHEREUPON, the above resolution was adopted at the May 18th regular City Council
Meeting for the City of Gem Lake, Ramsey County Minnesota, made by Councilmember
Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Artig-Swomley.

accurate representation of action taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on
