A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY
PROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2008
WHEREAS, the City Treasurerhas presented a TOTAL (Proposed) Budget of
$604,141.00 which includes:ai. (Proposed) General $'axlevy of P95,3'5:5.00 and a Debt
Tax. Levy of $53,900.00 for fiscal and calendar year• 2008 based upon best estimates of
costs for running the City of. Gem Lake*in* *20081, and
WHEREAS; the City CoinidiI'did.xeyieW, on December 10, 2¢07,-the TOTAL
(Proposed) Budgettzad. Tax Levy for 2008 including all revisions -thereto as of the -date
First written.
NOW, THEREFORE 13E IT RESOLVED, that -the City. Council of the Ciity. of Gem
Lake does formMly:adopt the 2008 Filial General Ftind*Budget of S'435,770-00 and the
Final Property. Tax Levy of$449,255,06 which includes.wGenera. Tax Levy of
S395,355.00:and a Debt Levy of $53;990.00 for 2008 as pr pared by.tbe:City-Treasurer
and amended.by the (amity Council;-.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City-Cierk is charged with Certifying said. Tax
and Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Tuatibn and other gov&nmerit bodies for
whom this information is required.
