A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GEM LAI<E TO APPROVE THE SUGGESTED
VENDOR BID FOR HOFFM'AN ROAD'SOUTH PAVEMENT REHABILITATION
WHEREAS., the City of GOntake previously authorized a project to rehabilitate pavement on Hoffman
Road South;
WHEREAS, the Cityof.Gem Lake authorized city engineer SEH to collect bidErfroM contractors .for this.
project;
WHEREAS.. the. city engineer SEH receivtedfour bids by the March I.81" bidding-,deadlirie
WHEREAS, a letter was issued to the office.of the mayor on April 0.for city council review of these
bids
WHEREAS, tho jetter dated April 6'1' recomtiiends the.use of Molnau Tracking LLC, of Norwood, MN in
the.amountQf$89;80T.50*which includes tho base bid --of $55,954.06 and alternate. A of $33,853.44
NOW, THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Gem Lake :approves the recommended bid. from.
Molnaue Trucking LLC, for the amount of $0,807.50
The motion of the adoption of the foregoing.. Resolution was. duly introdueed by Council Member Len
( Cacioppo and. seconded by Council Member Jinn Lindner; and upon vote being taken thereon, the
resolution passed with a vote of 5 in favor and 0 against.
