A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PRELIMINARY AMOUNT TO BE RAISED BY
FROPERTY TAXATION FOR THE YEAR 2022
WHEREAS; the City Treasurer has.presented a (proposed) General Fund Budget of
$572;628.00 which inoludes-a (Pxoposed) General Tale Levy of$520,778.00 and a. Debt Tax
Levy of $87,282A for fjscal:and calendar year 2022 based upon best estimates of costs for
ronning the City of -Gem Lake in. 2022; and
WHEREAS, the estimates were reviewed by the City Council :on 17 August, 2021 and amended
based upon best information received from outside contractors and input from City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of.the City of Gem Lake does
formally adopt the .:2022 Preliminary. Tax Levy ps follows
General Property Tax Levy $507;547.00
Fiscal Disparities 13,231.00
Debt Levy 87,292.00
Totat'Levy $608,060.00 ; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is. charged with.Certifying said Tax and
Debt Levy to Ramsey County Property Tuation and other government. bodies for whom this
information is requited.
