WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake currently operates. a Municipal Curbside Recycling
PriDgr-4m for all. single family resi4eniqeq within 14p-City; and
WHEREAS,,tho City -Council realizes that increased public awarienesis,.edilcittion -and
part.icipatioffin.thig program is in the best. interests of all citizens and wishes to expand the
current pr6grarn within the administrative guideline's established for current City staff; and
WH19REAS, the. Ramsey County*Pubflic. Health Department, Solid Wiste Wision, is:pr.ov . iding
