CITY OF GEM LAKE STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY RESOLUTION NO. 2026-10 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT GEM LAKE MUNICIPAL WATER PHASE I WHEREAS, the Gem Lake City Council on March 17, 2026, accepted the feasibility report for municipal water Phase I; WHEREAS, said improvements are cost effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report; and WHEREAS, the City Council on March 17, 2026, adopted a resolution setting a date for public hearing regarding the proposed improvements for the described improvement area; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of hearing was given, and all people desiring to be heard will be given the opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the City Council will consider all comments, testimony, evidence and reports offered at or prior to the public hearing; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer is prepared to develop plans and specifications for said public improvement project. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake, Minnesota, that Improvement Project Gem Lake Municipal Water Phase I is hereby ordered and the City Engineer is authorized to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember Linder and supported by Mayor Artig-Swomley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the resolution passed with a vote of 4 in favor and 0 against.
