RESOLUTION NO. 2026-06
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH KODIAK POWER SOLUTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION
OF A GENERATOR WITH REMOTE MONITORING FOR HERITAGE HALL
WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Emergency Management has suggested that all cities install a
generator at one of their buildings for emergency purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake has received two bids for the purchase and installation of a
generator at Heritage Hall; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake reviewed the bids and decided to go with Kodiak Power
Solutions with the option of the generator remote monitoring.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake,
Minnesota, Authorizes the City Clerk to enter into a contract with Kodiak Power Solutions for
the purchase and installation of a generator with remote monitoring for Heritage Hall.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember
Patrick and supported by Councilmember Lindner, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
resolution passed with a vote of 5 in favor and 0 against.
