RESOLUTION NO. 2026-07
RESOLUTION APPROVING 2026 WATER AND SEWER RATES
WHEREAS, the Gem Lake City Council received a report from the Finance Officer related to proposed utility rates;
and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the city to maintain charges in an amount necessary to cover the cost of providing
services to users; and
WHEREAS, maintaining rates through regular adjustment is a recommended practice rather than large intermittent
increases;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Gem Lake City Council of the City of Gem Lake,
Minnesota, that:
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly proposed by Councilmember Patrick and seconded
by Councilmember Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the Resolution passed with a vote of 5 in favor and
0 against.
Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake, on
February 17, 2026.
