WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake maintains a fee schedule for services provided, WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lakes 2010 fee schedule will expire on 12/31/2010, BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached fee schedule will become affective 1/1/2011. William Short, City Clerk Date City of Gem Lake Resolution NO. 2010-17 16 November 2010 A RESOLUTION EMPOWERING THE GEM LAKE CITY CLERK TO MAKE APPLICATION TO RAMSEY COUNTY FOR PARTICIPATION IN FUNDING MADE AVAILABLE AS HEREINAFTER KNOWN AS "SCORE GRANT". Whereas, The City of Gem Lake currently operates a Municipal Curbside Recycling Program for all single family residences within the City; and Whereas, the City Council realizes that increased public awareness, education and participation in this program is in the best interests of all citizens and wishes to expand the current program within the administrative guidelines established for current City staff; and Whereas, the Division of Solid Waste of the St. Paul -Ramsey County Department of Public Health has made certain funds available for qualified recycling programs within Ramsey County. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Gem Lake hereby empowers the City Clerk to apply annually for any and all Score Funding or other such grants as may be made available from time to time by other agencies for the sole purpose of expanding resident participation in the Gem Lake Municipal Recycling Program; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That said funds shall be used in such a manner as recommended by the City's Recycling Coordinator as approved by the City Council. Bill Short, City Clerk Date City of Gem Lake, MN Resolution No.2010 —19 November 16, 2010 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING INDIVIDUALS AND FIRMS TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS NECESSARY FOR SUPPORTING THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GEM LAKE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA. WHEREAS, the individuals, municipalities and or companies identified have agreed to serve in the appointed positions identified for the period 01 January 2011 to 31 December 2011 or until replaced by another in an updated resolution. Appointed City Officials and other appointed companies to represent the City Heating and Air Conditioning Service - Corporate Mechanical The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was proposed by Council member and was duly seconded by Council member and upon vote being taken thereon, the resolution passed with a vote of votes in favor of the resolution and against. Short, City Clerk City of Gem Lake, MN Resolution No. 2010 — 20 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO DISTRIBUTE A PORTION OF THE GAMBLING FUNDS TO WHITE BEAR LAKE FOOD BANK AND UNION GOSPEL MISSION WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake participates in the distribution of gambling funds from the Country Lounge, WHEREAS, The City of Gem Lake distributes these funds to local schools and charities, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Treasurer is authorized to send to White Bear Lake Food Bank the amount of $1000.00 for the cities contribution for the year 2010. BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Treasurer is authorized to send to Union Gospel Mission the amount of $250.00 for the cities contribution for the year 2010.
