2026-14 Resolution Awarding the 2050 Comprehensive Plan

CITY OF GEM LAKE STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY RESOLUTION NO. 2026-14 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT WITH SEH, INC. FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO COMPLETE THE 2050 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes §473.864 requires local governmental units to review and, if necessary, amend their entire comprehensive plans and their fiscal devices and official controls at least once every ten years to ensure comprehensive plan conform with metropolitan system plans and ensure fiscal devices and official controls do not conflict with comprehensive plans or permit activities that conflict with metropolitan system plans; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes section 473.858 and 473.864 require local governments to complete their review by December 31, 2028; and WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake has received quotes from two different firms to complete the work for the 2050 Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake has voted to have SEH, Inc. to perform/complete the 2050 Comprehensive Plan. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake, Minnesota, Authorizes the City Clerk to enter a contract with SEH, Inc. for Profession Services to Complete the 2050 Comprehensive Plan for the City of Gem Lake. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by Councilmember Johnson. Resolution passed with a vote of 5 in favor and 0 against.
