CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026-15 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING AMERICAN ENVIRONMENTAL, LLC THE <br />CONTRACT FOR SANITARY SEWER CLEANING AND TELEVISING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake is responsible for the maintenance of the sanitary sewer <br />within Gem Lake; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city was recently notified of an increase in the volume of waste from <br />Metropolitan Council: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council instructed the City Engineer to obtain quotes to clean and televise <br />the sanitary sewer lines to help determine the cause for the increase; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City’s sanitary sewer lines were last cleaned and televised in 2015; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city received two quotes for the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends American Environmental for the project of <br />cleaning and televising the sanitary sewer line for Gem Lake. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake, Minnesota, <br />Authorizes the City Clerk to enter into a contract with American Environmental, LLC for Sanitary Sewer <br />Cleaning and Televising for the City of Gem Lake. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember Lindner and <br />supported by Councilmember Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the resolution passed with a <br />vote of 5 in favor and 0 against. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />I, Barbara Suciu, the duly qualified City Clerk of the City of Gem Lake, County of Ramsey, State of <br />Minnesota, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a true and accurate representation of action <br />taken by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake on the date first written. <br /> <br /> June 16, 2026 <br />Barbara Suciu, City Clerk Date <br />
