RESOLUTION NO. 2026-15
RESOLUTION AWARDING AMERICAN ENVIRONMENTAL, LLC THE
CONTRACT FOR SANITARY SEWER CLEANING AND TELEVISING
WHEREAS, the City of Gem Lake is responsible for the maintenance of the sanitary sewer
within Gem Lake; and
WHEREAS, the city was recently notified of an increase in the volume of waste from
Metropolitan Council: and
WHEREAS, the City Council instructed the City Engineer to obtain quotes to clean and televise
the sanitary sewer lines to help determine the cause for the increase; and
WHEREAS, the City’s sanitary sewer lines were last cleaned and televised in 2015; and
WHEREAS, the city received two quotes for the project; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends American Environmental for the project of
cleaning and televising the sanitary sewer line for Gem Lake.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Gem Lake, Minnesota,
Authorizes the City Clerk to enter into a contract with American Environmental, LLC for Sanitary Sewer
Cleaning and Televising for the City of Gem Lake.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly introduced by Councilmember Lindner and
supported by Councilmember Johnson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the resolution passed with a
vote of 5 in favor and 0 against.
