Dear Paul:
The Gem Lake Planning Commission met Monday, June 14, 1993 at
7:30 p.m. in the Tousley Ford conference room. Present were
Gardner, Leider, Nielsen, Noble & Emeott. Mr. Peter Gaetke, a
candidate for the Planning Commission, also attended.
Mr. John LeTourneau appeared again as representative of Mr.
Ernest Bernier, seeking concept approval of the minor subdivision
at 1633 Goose Lake Road. On the basis that there will be no
variances required, that each of the three lots will be fully
conforming, that there is adequate area for a replacement
drainfield on each lot, and that a surveyed plat and formal
presentation of the subdivision will be made on a timely basis
(i.e., within 2 months), the Commission agreed that the subdivision
would then be recommended for approval by the City Council.
The balance of the evening was spent reviewing the proposed
revision of the site -plan procedure and signage portions of the
zoning ordinance. At 10:00 PM, with that process about 70$
complete, the meeting was adjourned. We should be able to complete
that review at our July meeting.
The Commission will meet again at 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 24
with the management of Tousley Ford to review, and presumably
revise, their landscaping design.
