Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 22nd day of November, 1982, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Franke, and Johnson. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Curley introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: Resolution No. 7448 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON IMPROVEMENT NO. M-80-4 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council on July 21, 1981, the City Public Works Director has prepared plans and specifications for Improvement No. M-80-4, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Rosevi11e Sun, the official paper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for Improvement No. M-80-4 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Public Works Director until 2:00 p.m. on December 28, 1982, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and City Public Works Director, will then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the Council, and that no bids will be considered, unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid.
