<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />held at the city hall in said city on Monday, the 20th day of <br />Decmeber, 1982, at 7:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, and <br /> <br />Demos. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Council Member <br /> <br />Franke <br /> <br />introduced and moved the <br /> <br />adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7456 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO AGENCY AGREEMENT <br />FOR FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, federal regulations requiring agency agreement <br />between the State and local municipalities for the processing <br />federal grants for transportation and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Departmerrt of Transportation is <br />the appropriate agency to act as agent in behalf of the City of <br />Rosevillei <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Section <br />161.36, Subdivision 1 through 6, Minnesota Statutes, the Commissioner <br />of Transportation be appointed as agent of the City of Roseville to <br />let as its agent, contracts for the construction of local streets and <br />bridges, and the Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized <br />and directed for and on behalf of the City Council to execute and <br />enter into a contract with the Commissioner of Transportation <br />prescribing the terms and conditions of such contracts in the form <br />as set forth and contained in "Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />Agency Agreement" a copy of which said agreemetn was before the <br />Council, assuming on behalf of the City all of the obligations therein <br />contained. <br />
