EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, mNNESOTA HELD - January 10, 1982 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall at 7:30 p.m., Monday, January 10,1983. The following members were present: Johnson, Franke, and Demos. and the following were absent: Kehr and Curley Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 7~ WHEREAS, certain employees of the City of Roseville have joined Local 320 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 49 of the International Union of Operating Engineers, and Law EnforceNent Labor Services; and WHEREAS, the City Council has recognized the above three Union organizations as the sole representatives for those employees who have joined the above unions; and WHEREAS, these Unions are represented by business agents; and WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of maintaining proper relationships with the above-named Unions and their respective business agents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in negotiations to be conducted between Local 320 IBT, Local 49 IUOE, and LELS, that the City Council appoints the City Manager, or his agent, to be the City representative in any and all forthcoming negotiations for the year 1983. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Franke , and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
