<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said city <br />on Monday, the 14th day of February, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Curley, Franke, Johnson, Kehr, and Demos. <br /> <br />and, the following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Council member Curley introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7476 <br /> <br />M1EREAS, Minnesota Statutes 1982, Section 473.875 to 473.883 were devised and adopted <br />to preserve and use natural water storage and retention systems to dispose of storm- <br />water runoff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 1982, Section 473.878, requires that watershed management <br />planning be conducted for all areas within the metropolitan area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 1982, Section 473.877, Subd. 2, requires that before <br />planning can commence for any specific area, a map delineating watershed boundaries <br />shall be submitted to the Water Resources Board for review and comment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources is currently making revisions to the <br />watershed boundaries map for the Water Resources Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff or consultant engineer representatives from the City of Shoreview, <br />North Oaks Village, City of White Bear Lake, City of Vadnais Heights, Gem Lake <br />Township, White Bear Township, City of Falcon Heights, City of Lauderdale, City of <br />Little Canada, City of Maplewood, State Fair Board, University of Minnesota and <br />Ci ty of Roseville, have worked together in delineating watershed boundaries for <br />watershed in Ramsey County as depicted on the attached map; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached map represents the City of <br />Roseville's position on watershed boundaries for portions of Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the attached map be forwarded to the Department of <br />Natural Resources in preparation of the metropolitan watershed boundaries map. <br />
