<br />1~f <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />April 11, 1983 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br /> <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br /> <br />held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, April 11, 1983, <br /> <br />at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and <br /> <br />Councilmen Curley, Kehr, Franke and Johnson; and the following <br /> <br />were absent: None. <br /> <br />At the regular meeting of the City Council held on March <br /> <br />28, 1983, Councilman Johnson moved to reconsider Improvement <br /> <br />No. P-83-3, consisting of the installation of bituminous <br /> <br />paving, concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances <br /> <br />on all that property abutting Galtier Street from County Road <br /> <br />C-2 to Iona Lane and on all that property abutting Iona Lane <br /> <br />from Galtier Street to Matilda Street,' and to establish <br /> <br />another hearing to be held on April 11, 1983. <br /> <br />The motion was <br /> <br />seconded by Councilman Kehr, and the following voted in favor <br /> <br />thereof: Councilmen Johnson and Kehr; and the following <br /> <br />voted against the same: Mayor Demos. The motion carried. <br /> <br />MAYOR DEMOS: The purpose of this hearing is to <br />reconsider the action taken by the City Council in regard to <br />Improvement No. P-83-3 on March 14, 1983. At this time I <br />will ask Mr. Honchell to again describe the nature of the <br />improvement and the financing costs. <br /> <br />MR. HONCHELL: This particular project was initiated <br />by a petition signed by approximately 53% of the people. <br />Following that, another petition was submitted against the <br />project, signed by approximately 53% of the people.
