EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 25th day of June, 1996, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, Wiski, Maschka, and Wall, and the following were absent: Mastel. Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9306 Amendment to Resolution No. 8593 Code of Ethics for Public Officials WHEREAS, Resolution No. 8593, establishing the Code of Ethics for Public Officials in the City of Roseville, was adopted by the City Council in July, 1990; and WHEREAS, Section 2, Public Official, Section e, is not clear as to its intent; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 8593 be amended by changing Section 2, Definitions of Terms ( Public Officials), Sections e and f, to read as follows: Section 2 e. The City Attorney and those individual attorneys in the City Attorney's firm who perform work for the City. Section 2 f. Consultants retained by the City and those individual professionals (such as but not limited to engineers, architects, auditors, and appraisers) in the consultant's firm who perform work for the City. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Goedeke, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, Wiski, Mastel, and Wall, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
