EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD SEPTEMBER 12, 1983 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in said City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, in said City, on Monday, the 12th day of September, 1983, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Kehr, Johnson, Franke, Curley, and Demos. and, the following were absent: None. Member Franke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 7558 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO REDUCE THE ESTABLISHED TAX LEVY FOR GOLF COURSE BONDS AND GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS WHEREAS, there is a surplus of $18,100 in the Golf Course Debt Retirement Fund resulting in the transfer from revenues received from the Golf Course Operations; and WHEREAS, there is a surplus of $325,000 in the General Improvement Debt Retirement Fund resulting from greater special assessments received than anticipated; and capitalized interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that 1. The Ramsey County Auditor be directed to reduce the 1983 tax levy for Golf Course Bonds - 1967 by $18,100 from $18,100 to -0-. 2. The Ramsey County Auditor be directed to reduce the 1983 tax levy for General Improvement Bonds, Series 11, 1983 by $325,000 from $500,000 to $175,000. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kehr, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All present. and, the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
