<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Total Asphalt Construction Co. <br /> <br /> <br />of St. Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at <br /> <br /> <br />the tabulated price of $49,840.00. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> <br /> <br />the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to enter into a contract with Total Asphalt Construc- <br /> <br /> <br />tion Co. for $49,840.00 in the name of the City of Roseville <br /> <br /> <br />for the above improvements according to the plans and specifi- <br /> <br /> <br />cations thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Manager. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br /> <br />to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with <br /> <br /> <br />their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and <br /> <br /> <br />the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have <br /> <br />been signed. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Kehr and upon vote <br /> <br /> <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />All; and the following voted against the same: None; where- <br /> <br />upon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
