<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly <br />held at the city hall in said city on Monday, the 9th day of <br />January, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos, <br />Council members Kehr, Curley, Johnson, and Franke <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Council Member Johnson <br /> <br />introduced and moved the <br /> <br />adoption of the following resolution: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7578 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CREDITS AND/OR ADJUSTMENTS <br />FOR MUNICIPAL STOPJ~ vvATER DRAINAGE FEES <br /> <br />~~IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville recognizes <br />that it is in the best interests of the city to establish a policy <br />to provide for credits and/or adjustments for municipal storm drain- <br />age fees and, <br />lnIEREAS, such a policy will provide clear and consistant <br />interpretation of how such credits and/or adjustments shall be handled. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> <br />TITLE <br />Credits and/or adjustments of municipal storm drainage fees. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND STATEMENT <br /> <br />The municipal storm drainage utility utilizes a fee structure based <br />on the anticipated relative contribution of storm driange runoff <br />volumes to the storm water drainage system. A parcels contribution <br />is determined by that parcels size and its land use, under the prin- <br />cipal that more intensively developed land uses typically have a larger <br />percentage of impervious surface and contribute a much greater volume <br />of water and/or sediment/nutrient loadings to the system. <br /> <br />It is recognized that some parcels, due either to their unique topo- <br />
