Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota Held: February 13, 1984 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 13th day of February, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Curley, Kehr, Franke, Johnson, and Demos. and, the following members were absent: None Member Curley introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 7583 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is a city of approximately 35,000 people, and, WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi1le has placed a first priority on the development and redevelopment of certain of its areas for business purposes, and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is permitted to issue eighteen liquor licenses; all are nearly issued, and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville believes the availability of additional liquor licenses is essential to encourage and assist business investment in those certain areas identified for development and redevelopment. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville requests the Roseville legislative delegation to jointly sponsor and introduce special legislation which would authorize the City to issue up to twenty-eight on-sale liquor licenses, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to members of the Roseville legislative delegation. The above listed resolution was seconded by member Kehr , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; All present. and, the following voted against the same; None.
