<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Held: February 13, 1984 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in said City on <br />Monday, the 13th day of February, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br /> <br />Curley, Kehr, Franke, Johnson, and Demos. <br /> <br />and, the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Curley <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7583 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is a city of approximately 35,000 people, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevi1le has placed a first priority on the development <br />and redevelopment of certain of its areas for business purposes, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is permitted to issue eighteen liquor licenses; <br />all are nearly issued, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville believes the availability of additional liquor <br />licenses is essential to encourage and assist business investment in those <br />certain areas identified for development and redevelopment. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville requests the Roseville <br />legislative delegation to jointly sponsor and introduce special legislation <br />which would authorize the City to issue up to twenty-eight on-sale liquor <br />licenses, and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to members <br />of the Roseville legislative delegation. <br /> <br />The above listed resolution was seconded by member Kehr , and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; All present. <br /> <br />and, the following voted against the same; <br /> <br />None. <br />
