Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota Held: May 21, 1984 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 21st day of May, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Kehr, Franke, Johnson, Curley, and Demos and, the following members were absent: None Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 7611 RESOLUTION APPROVING MINNESOTA LAWS 1984 CHAPTER 626 PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSES WHEREAS, laws of Minnesota 1984, Chapter 626, relating to the City of Roseville, providing for six additional on-sale liquor licenses provides in part as follows: "Section 15 --- Section 7 --- (is) effective on approval by the appropriate governing body and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021, Subdivision 3." WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute Section 645.021 requires approval of a special law by the affected local government. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville, does hereby approve Minnesota law 1984, Chapter 626, and the City Manager is directed to file the required certificate and a certified copy of this resolution with the Minnesota Secretary of State. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Franke and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and, the following voted against the same. None. WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
