<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the <br /> <br />City Hall in said City on Monday, August 27, 1984 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Demos and Counci1members <br /> <br />/ <br /> <br />Kehr, Johnson, Curley, and Franke; and the following members were absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 7641 <br /> <br />RESOLLTION APPROVING JOINT <br />POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Rosevil1e has received from Health Resources <br />Assistance Corporation a proposal to undertake a project within the City <br />of Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Health Resources Assistance Corporation has requested that <br />the City of Roseville issue its industrial development revenue bonds in <br />the amount of $1,500,000 to finance the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is an entitlement issuer llilder Laws <br />of Minnesota 1984, Chapter 582 and the City's allocation is $627,143; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Becker is willing to enter into a joint powers <br />agreement with the City of Roseville to make available to the City of <br />Rosevi1le from the City of Becker's allocation the sum of $873,000 so <br />that the City of Roseville can issue its industrial development revenue <br />bonds in the amount of $1,500,000; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Roseville as follows: <br /> <br />1. The joint powers agreement, in the form presented to the City <br />Council, is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Manager are <br />authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />2. The City's approval of this agreement shall in no manner be <br />deemed to be approval of the project or approval by the City of issuance of <br />its industrial development revenue bonds for the project. <br /> <br />3. Health Resources Assistance Corporation is requj.red to follow all <br />established City procedures in regard to this Project including but not <br />limited to Planning Commission review and City Council review of the project. <br />
