The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted <br />in the Rosevi11e Sun, the official paper, and in the Construction <br />Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for <br />Improvement No. 88-84-04 shall be published as required by law, <br />shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the <br />basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state the bids will <br />be received by the City Manager and Public Works Director until <br />10:00 o'clock a.m. on September 18, 1984, at which time they will <br />be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and City <br />Public Works Director, will then be tabulated, and will sub- <br />sequently be considered by the Council, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accom- <br />panied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bohd payable to <br />the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />\ <br />duly seconded by Councilmember Kehr and upon vote being taken <br /> <br />thereon, the following voted in favor: All present; and the <br /> <br />following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution was <br /> <br />declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
