<br />WHEREAS, the City of i1aplewood is willing to enter into a <br />joint powers agreement with the City of Roseville to make <br />available to the City of Roseville from the city of l1aplewood's <br />allocation t.he sum of $3,600,000 so that the Cit:y of Roseville, <br />together with another allocation to be received by the City of <br />Roseville pursuant to a joint powers agreement with another <br />City, can issue its industrial development revenue bonds in the <br />amount of $5,000,000 for the project; and <br /> <br />NOW, TlIEREFOR8, BE IT HESOLVED, by the City of poseville <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. The joint powers agreement, substantially in the form <br />presented to the city Council, is hereby approved and the Mayor <br />and the City Manager are authorized to execute the agreement on <br />behalf of the City of Roseville. The City Attorney is <br />authorized to approve changes to the joint powers agreement <br />prior to execution by the City. <br /> <br />2. The City's approval of this agreement shall in no <br />manner be deemed to be approval of the project or approval by <br />the City of issuance of its industrial development revenue <br />bonds for the project. <br /> <br />3. Advance Circuits, Inc. is required to follow all <br />established City procedures in regard to this project including <br />but not limited to Planning Commission review and city Council <br />review of the project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by councilman Demos and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
