Member Franke adoption. introduced the following Resolution and moved it RESOLUTION NO. 7655 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO ACQUIRE BY CONDEMNATION UNDER THE POWERS OF EMINENT DOMAIN CERTAIN LAND IN FEE SIMPLE FOR THE PURPOSES OF ACQUIRING PROPERTY FOR DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO MINN. STAT. SECTION 472A.Ol, ET SEQ., AND DIRECTING THA T THE NECESSARY PROCEEDINGS BE INSTITUTED FOR SUCH PURPOSE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville has established a development program pursuant to Minn. Stat. Section 472A.Ol, et seq.; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville deems it necessary and expedient and in the best interests of the City to acquire the following described land in fee simple for the purposes of implementing that development program; WHEREAS, the City has been unable to negotiate for the purpose of purchasing said land; and WHEREAS, under the statutes of the State of Minnesota, the City has the power to take and acquire such property by eminent domain. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVLED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The City Council of the City of Rosevllle hereby deems it necessary and convenient that the property described below be acquired by the City of Roseville in fee simple for the purpose of furthering the City's development program pursuant to Minn. Stat. Section 472A.Ol, et seq., all of said property being situated in the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, to-wit: Lot 7, Block I, Fairview Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota.
