<br />RESOLlITION 7661 <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD: October 22, 1984 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Ramsey <br />County, Minnesota, was duly held on the 22nd day of October, <br />1984, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Demos and COW1cilmembers Curley, Kehr and Franke. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Councilmember Johnson. <br /> <br />Member Franke <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC <br />HEARING AND CALLING FOR CONSULTATION WITH <br />OTHER AFFECTED JURISDICTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />A. It has been proposed that the City of Roseville <br />modify its existing tax increment financing plan for <br />Development District No. 1 and enlarge Redevelopment District <br />No. 1 (a tax increment financing district) in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 273.71 to 273.78 and Chapter 472A <br />(collectively the "Act"). <br /> <br />B. The Act requires that prior to the City Council's <br />approval of said modification and enlargement, the City Council <br />shall provide a reasonable opportunity to members of the County <br />Board of Commissioners of Ramsey County and the School Boards <br />of Independent School Districts No. 621 and 623 a to meet with <br />the City Council to discuss said modification and enlargenent <br />and the City Council shall fully inform the members of the <br />County Board and School Boards of the fiscal and economic <br />implications of the proposed modification and enlargement; <br />
