EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Tuesday, the 26th day of August, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall, and the following were absent: Wiski. Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.9 32 2A RESOLUTION FINDING THAT A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ARE NOT REQUIRED CONCERNING THE DENNIS BATTY/ROSEVILLE COVENANT CHURCH REQUEST FOR CITY APPROVALS AT 2865 HAMLINE AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, the proposed church site is partially designated Low Density Residential and partially designated business on the City's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the proposed church site is partially zoned R-1 Single Family residential and partially zoned B-1 Limited Business; and WHEREAS, the proposed church structure will be located on the portion of the site designated as Low Density Residential and zoned R-1 Single Family Residential; and WHEREAS, church uses are compatible with the low density residential designation and the R-l Single Family Residential zoning; and WHEREAS, the portion of the site designated for business use and zoned B-1 Limited Business will be used for accessory parking purposes; and WHEREAS, accessory parking is compatible with the business designation and B-1 Limited Business zoning; and WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission recommended approval of a finding, after a public hearing on June 12, 1996, that the proposed use would be compatible with the current Comprehensive Plan designation and zoning and would not require a conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council conducted a public hearing on this matter on August 26, 1996.
