<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey,
<br />Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 26th
<br />day of August, 1996,6:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />The following members were present: Mastel, r-1aschka, Goedeke, and Wall,
<br />and the following were absent: Wiski.
<br />
<br />Member·Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION NO.9 3 2 2D
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VACATION OF UTILITY, DRAINAGE, AND WALKWAY
<br />EASEMENTS ON THE SITE LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF HAMLINE AVENUE, BETWEEN
<br />COUNTY ROAD B-2 AND CENTENNIAL DRIVE
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to
<br />determine whether or not a portion of said street in the City ofRoseville should be vacated; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of the surrounding land, it would be beneficial
<br />to the public interest to vacate a portion of said street;
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereby
<br />vacates the utility, drainage, and walkway easements over that part of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter,
<br />Section 3, Township 29, Range 23, lying north of Centennial Drive, except the west 935 feet thereof, and lots 8, 9,
<br />10, Block I, Michelle Centennial Addition, and that part of the public walk, dedicated in said Michels Centennial
<br />Addition, lying south ofthe easterly prolongation of the north line of said Lot 8, all in Ramsey County, Minnesota.

<br />The motion for the adoption ofthe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Goede,käò.d upon a vote
<br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: r-1astel, Maschka, Goedeke, and Wall,
<br />and the following voted against the same: None.
<br />
<br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
