<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in <br />the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the <br />eleventh day of March, 1985, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Franke, Johnson, Kehr and Demos <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Curley <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7698 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE SELECTION OF C. WAYNE COURTNEY <br />TO RECEIVE THE C. C. LUDWIG AWARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities annually presents the C. C. Ludwig <br />award to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to municipal <br />government; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, C. Wayne Courtney served the Village of Morningside as a council- <br />member from 1962 to 1966; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, he has provided leadership in the City of Edina by serving as council- <br />member from 1966 to 1980 and as mayor from 1980 through the present; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney has served the metropolitan community in a variety of <br />roles with dedication and energetic leadership; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney has taken an active leadership role in the League of <br />Minnesota Cities; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Roseville City Council supports the <br />selection of C. Wayne Courtney, Mayor of Edina to receive the C. C. Ludwig <br />award. <br />
