<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on <br />Monday, the 26th day of August, 1996, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wall and the <br />following were absent: Wiski. <br /> <br />Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9324 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR THE LIVABLE COMMUNITIES <br />DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM FOR THE CORNERSTONE DEMONSTRATION <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's <br />Housing Incentives Program for 1996 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and is <br />therefore eligible to make application for funds under the Livable Communities Demonstration <br />Account; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified a proposed project within the City that meets the <br />Demonstration Account's purpose/s and criteria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure <br />adequate project administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations <br />as stated in the contract agreements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as legal sponsor for <br />the project contained in the Demonstration Account application submitted on August 30, 1996. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized <br />to apply to the Metropolitan Council for this funding on behalf of the City of Roseville and to <br />execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf ofthe applicant. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Mastel, <br />Maschka, Goedeke, Wall and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHERE UPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
