<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Hall on Monday, the 26th <br />day of August, 1996 at 6:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Goedeke, Wall and the following <br />were absent: Wiski. <br /> <br />Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9326 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR THE LIVABLE COMMUNITIES <br />DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's Housing <br />Incentives Program for 1996 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and therefore eligible to <br />make application for funds under the Livable Communities Demonstration Account; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has identified a proposed project within the City that meets the <br />Demonstration Account's purpose/s and criteria; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure <br />adequate project administration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as <br />stated in the contract agreements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as a legal <br />sponsor for the project contained in the Demonstration Account application submitted on August 30, <br />1996; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota (the "City"), Ramsey County, Minnesota, that the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for this funding on behalf of the City of Roseville <br />and to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Goedeke and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Mastel, <br />Maschka, Goedeke, Wall and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />1 <br />
