EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA May 13, 1985 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in said City on May 13, 1985, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Demos and Councilmembers Franke, Kehr and Johnson; and the following was absent: Councilmember Curley. Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 7720 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. P-84-24 AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. P-84-24 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting Sextant Avenue between Victoria Street and Grotto Street and Grotto Street from Sextant Avenue to County Road B-2, as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently estimated at $139,964.46, and substantially in accordance with the prelimi- nary report as to the feasability thereof which is now on file in the office of the City Manager; and having considered the views of all interested persons and being fully advised in the premi- ses, the Council does hereby determine and order that said impro- vement shall be constructed and financed, and special assessments shall be levied therefor, pursuant to said Chapter 429, and that the area proposed to be assessed therefor shall include the pro- perty as described in the Notice of Hearing. The City Public Works Director is directed to prepare and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications.
