<br />negotiated affordable and life-cycle housing goals for each participating municipality; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a metropolitan area municipality which elects to participate in the Local <br />Housing Incentives Account Program must do so by November 15 of each year, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, for calendar year 1997, a metropolitan area municipality that did not <br />participate in the Local Housing Incentive Account Program during the calendar year 1996, can <br />participate under Minnesota Statutes section 473.254 only if: (a) the municipality elects to <br />participate in the Local Housing Incentives Account Program by November 15, 1996; and (b) the <br />Metropolitan Council and the municipality have successfully negotiated affordable and life-cycle <br />housing goals for the municipality: <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of Roseville hereby elects to <br />participate in the Local Housing Incentives Program under the Metropolitan Livable <br />Communities Act during the calendar year 1997. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Mastel and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Maschka, <br />Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, Wall and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHERE UPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified city manager of the City of Roseville, County of <br />Ramsey, State of Minnesota, due hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and <br />foregoing extract of minutes of the regular meeting of said city council held on the 9th day of <br />September, 1996, with the originals, thereof, on file in my office. <br /> <br />WITNESS BY HAND, officially as such manager this 16th day of September, 1996. <br /> <br />St~~ <br /> <br />SEAL <br />
