EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 10th day of June, 1985 at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Demos and the following were absent: Curley, Kehr, Franke and Johnson Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 7743 RESOLUTION APPROVING MINNESOTA LAWS 1985 CHAPTER 301 PROVIDING FOR PORT AUTHORITY POWERS FOR THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE WHEREAS, laws of Minnesota 1985, Chapter 301, relating to the City of Roseville, providing for port authority powers for the City of Roseville provides in part as follows: "Section 3 is effective for the City of Roseville the day after compliance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021, Subdivision 3, by the governing body of the City of Roseville". WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute Section 645.021 requires approval of a special law by the affected local government. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville, does hereby approve Minnesota Law 1985, Chapter 301, and the City Manager is directed to file the required certificate and a certified copy of this resolution with the Minnesota Secretary of State. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Demos and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Curley, Kehr, Franke and Demos and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
