<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, <br />Minnesota was duly held on the 10th day of June, 1985 at 7:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />Demos and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Curley, Kehr, Franke and <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7743 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MINNESOTA LAWS 1985 <br />CHAPTER 301 PROVIDING FOR PORT AUTHORITY POWERS FOR THE <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, laws of Minnesota 1985, Chapter 301, relating to the <br />City of Roseville, providing for port authority powers for the <br />City of Roseville provides in part as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 3 is effective for the City of Roseville the day <br />after compliance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 645.021, <br />Subdivision 3, by the governing body of the City of <br />Roseville". <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute Section 645.021 requires approval of <br />a special law by the affected local government. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, does hereby approve Minnesota Law 1985, Chapter <br />301, and the City Manager is directed to file the required <br />certificate and a certified copy of this resolution with the <br />Minnesota Secretary of State. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by member Demos and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Curley, Kehr, Franke and Demos <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
