According to the study and <br />supported b the most recent growth in senior population, there is a demand for <br />additional 1,100 units of senior housing. <br />With the largo pementage of muldfamily units in the area, the proposed project will <br />provide the basis for future wdevelopment and a. of connections between <br />existing new housing, essential services and employment through transit tinges <br />and public pathways. <br />10, Pro)ect Elements <br />This proposal will. <br />1. Create 120 new senior market rate housing units, including 10 <br />senior units reserved for Ho applicants. The project is <br />currently Ouctured as a leasehold coopmfive which has been <br />an option that seniors are 'ire. <br />2. Create 9,000 -s.f. irrt enerational neighborhood <br />center/community mom and 3,500 s.f. ovate education <br />space. <br />3. Create 17,500 s.f mixed use lease space (senior support <br />business, office, medical semoes and/or private educational <br />space). <br />4. Create 40,000 s.f of neighborhood retail space. <br />5 Establish a neighborhood mini transit hub supported by the <br />Roseville C' r. <br />6. wide an incentive for new young family ownership p within <br />the community by providing up to 10 subsidized "buy down <br />and renovation" es for housing being sold by s=*Ors.
