REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br /> DATE: 02/14/00 <br /> ITEM NO.: H-2 <br /> Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br /> Item Description: Public Improvement Hearings-2000 Pavement Management Program <br /> (PMP) <br /> Background: On September 13, 1999, the City Council selected neighborhoods for the 2000 <br /> PMP and ordered the preparation of feasibility studies for these projects. On January 24,2000, <br /> the Council ordered public hearings. Public hearings will be held on February 14, 2000, at 7:15 <br /> p.m. Following is a list of the projects to be heard: <br /> P-00-02 Neighborhood 32 Chatsworth Street, Love 1 Avenue to Grandview Avenue <br /> Love 11 Avenue, Cul-de-sac to Chatsworth Street <br /> P-00-02 Neighborhood 34 St. Albans Street, County Road B2 to Dale Street <br /> P-00-02 Neighborhood 3 5 Grandview Avenue, Victoria Street to St. Albans Street <br /> Cope Avenue, Cul-de-sac to Grotto Street <br /> Grotto Street, Cope Avenue to Lovell Avenue <br /> Grotto Street, Grandview Avenue to County Road B2 <br /> St. Albans Street, Lovell Avenue to County Road B2 <br /> P-00-02 Neighborhood 3 6 Brooks Avenue, Cohansey Street to Western Avenue <br /> Irene Street, County Road B2 to Sextant Avenue <br /> Irene Court, Irene Street to Cul-de-sac <br /> Sextant Avenue, Cohansey Street to Irene Street <br /> i <br /> Prior to individual hearings, staff will present general information regarding construction, <br /> standards, and assessments that apply to all projects. To facilitate the hearing process, staff <br /> suggests the Council follow the attached agenda for each hearing. We have attached a copy of <br /> the Feasibility report for the Council's review. <br /> Policy objectives: The feasibility report discusses individual projects and general applicable <br /> policies.
