Roselawn Cemetery Lease Property, Modification to <br /> Resolution 9720 <br /> Background: On December 13, 1999, the City Council approved Resolution 9720 that <br /> guaranteed the use of the Roselawn Cemetery Lease Property for the Dale Street/Roselawn <br /> Pathway proposed to be constructed in 2000. Because a large portion of the cost of this project is <br /> to be funded with federal transportation dollars, Mn/Dot is required to scrutinize all the right-of- <br /> way documents associated with this project to ensure that the public's interests are protected. <br /> Accordingly, Mn/Dot is requesting a minor modification to the -verbiage contained in Resolution <br /> 9720 to clarify the City's commitment to perpetuate the location of the Dale Street/Roselawn <br /> Pathway on the Roselawn Cemetery Lease Property. A new resolution clarifying Resolution <br /> 9720 is attached. <br /> With the proposed modifications to Resolution 9720, all right-of-way issues for the Dale <br /> Street/Roselawn Avenue Trail will be resolved. <br /> RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION: <br /> Adoption of a resolution clarifying Roseville's commitment to allow the Dale Street/Roselawn <br /> Avenue Pathway to be located on the Roselawn Cemetery Lease Property. <br /> Prepared by: Karl Keel <br />
