CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDINANCE NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, SECTION 1005.016, REGARDING OUTDOOR SALES AND SIGNAGE The City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, does hereby ordain: SECTION 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Ordinance is to clarify the Sections of the City Code relating to outdoor storage and display and duration of display. SECTION 2. Section 1005.01 G2 is hereby amended as follows: 1005.01 G.2. Temporary outside display of merchandise without a building or protective structure may be established for up to twelve calendar-days a year after the issuance of a temporary display permit by the Chief Code Enforcement Officer in any of the following business districts where retail sales are allowed: B-2, 13-3, B-4 and Shopping Center Districts. A single temporary display sign, not to exceed 20 square feet, within 10 feet of the sales area, and with property owner approval, may be placed on a wall or solid surface for the twelve day temporary sale. A site plan indicating the location of the sales area and sign shall be provided to the City for review and approval. SECTION 3. Section 1005.01 G3 is hereby renamed Section 1005.01 G4. SECTION 4. Section 1005.01 G4 is hereby renamed Section 1005.01 G5. SECTION 5. Section 1005.01 is hereby amended by adding Section 1005.01G3 (a new `Section) as follows: Section 1005.01 G.3. Incidental or seasonal sales, such as produce, nursery, or greenhouse sales, including an accessory structure may be permitted after issuance of a Seasonal Sales Permit for a period not to exceed ninety (90) calendar days, after review of the following criteria submitted with the permit application: a. The amount of outside sales area compared to the amount of inside sales space. b. Location of the outside sales area and the extent it encroaches on required setbacks. c. Impact on traffic and pedestrian circulation on the site. d. Impact on parking on the site. e. The height of merchandise displays.
