First Reading <br /> CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> ORDINANCE NO. , <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE IX, CHAPTER 901, OF <br /> THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE RELATING TO THE STATE <br /> UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION <br /> AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF <br /> THE STATE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE <br /> THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 901 .01 of the Roseville City Code is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> 901.01: ADOPTION OF CODE: The Minnesota State Building Code, <br /> one copy of which is on the in the office of the City Manager, has been adopted by <br /> Minnesota Statute 16B.59 to 16B.75 as a uniform building code applicable throughout <br /> the State, superseding any other building code of any municipality. The most recent <br /> revisions, and subsequent amendments to such code are hereby adopted as the Building <br /> Code of the City and-incorporated in this Chapter as completely as if set out in full. <br /> SECTION 2. Section 90 1.06 the Roseville City Code is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> 901.06: PERMITS, INSPECTIONS AND FEES: The issuance of permits and the <br /> collection of fees shall be as authorized in Minnesota Statutes, Section 16B.62, Subdivision <br /> 1, and as nrovided in Chapter 1 of the 1997 Uniform Building Code and Minnesota Rules <br /> parts 1305.0106 and 1305.0107. Permit fees shall be assessed for work governed by this <br /> v <br /> Code shall be as provided for in the most recent revisions of the State Uniform Building <br /> Code or in other sections of the City Code and the amount of permit fees shall be the total of <br /> the following: <br /> A. The amount of the fees shall be as determined by Table No. 1 -A of the <br /> Uniform Building Code, or subsequent revisions thereto, plus <br /> B. An amount equal to eight percent (8%) of the amount determined by <br /> subsection A above,to be used to defray the cost of fire safety inspections. <br /> SECTION 3.
